CyberSEA focuses on strengthening maritime cybersecurity by developing innovative training and simulation solutions tailored to the needs of the industry. The core objective of our activities is to enhance the cybersecurity skills of cadets and seafarers and to increase understanding of digital threats, ensuring that maritime operations are safer and more resilient.

At the same time, we promote cybersecurity awareness among all maritime personnel and support safer and smoother shipping across Europe.

Over the past year, we have achieved several significant milestones. We have launched a virtual hub that brings together the key resources of our operations. Most of the remote laboratories are now ready for hands-on training, and we have developed educational materials related to maritime cybersecurity to support learning. In addition, we have strengthened collaboration by organizing three partner meetings and actively communicated our progress through social media.

In the next phase, we will continue to develop and pilot the remote laboratories and expand training opportunities to reach more cadets and seafarers. We will also organize events focused on maritime cybersecurity in partner countries. Through these measures, we aim to sustainably strengthen Europe’s maritime cybersecurity and enhance the sector’s ability to respond to evolving digital threats.
