Project objectives
- design and implement a research laboratory and a knowledge and investment package to measure and model emission reductions
- conduct emission reduction and energy efficiency demonstrations in a simulator using the investment package.
- build permanent and embedded structures, operating model, facilities and shared laboratories for the research laboratory as part of the Marine Logistics Research Centre.
- make the Research Laboratory a widely recognised and acknowledged center of excellence for maritime logistics in the field of carbon neutrality as part of the Maritime Logistics Research Centre.
- operate research and product development teams of international excellence in the laboratory in relation to the Research Centre.
- collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Satakunta's maritime logistics industry, national authorities, and national and international universities
- generate new knowledge and support business growth
