I have worked in various positions in the field of shipping and logistics, gaining experience with dry and chemical cargoes, port and terminal operations, agency services as well as e.g. operation of tankers. I have also been working in logistics and HSEQ related projects and development tasks. I have an MBA in logistics, and I also have studies in international trade, shipping and other logistics related topics. I started at SAMK in March 2022 as a Project Researcher and work mainly with maritime logistics and the security of supply.

In March 2022 I started at SAMK at the Maritime Logistics Research Institute as a Project Researcher. I am a sea captain and, alongside with my work, I am finalizing my higher degree maritime studies. I have years of work experience in shipping both domestically and internationally. I also have a background from maritime projects. Leveraging my background and knowledge of the different perspectives of maritime networks provides a goog framework for developing something influential in a world that is constantly changing – not forgetting to listen to the needs of the business sector.

I have a Master's degree in Business Administration and I have a long work history with a number of management and executive positions as an entrepreneur as well as working for various companies. I consider my holistic business knowledge as one of my strengths. Furthermore, my long and varied work experience in the corporate world brings a business-oriented perspective to the development work at the Maritime Logistics Research Center, where I work as a project manager. I am goal-oriented and motivated by solving problems and organizing complex matters.
